Does the price climb when I renew?
No — and you can check that yourself, because both numbers are in the table above before you order. The renewal column is exactly what you're billed from year two onward. A few extensions, .xyz included, run a discounted first year; where that applies, plan around the standard renewal shown next to it. There is nothing waiting to surface on a later invoice.
Do I really pay nothing for WHOIS privacy?
Nothing at all. It switches on automatically for any domain whose registry supports it — which covers most gTLDs, .com, .net and .org among them. Shielded placeholders stand in for your real name, address, email and phone number in the public record, and that alone cuts out much of the spam and cold-calling that trails domain owners around. The only exceptions are a small set of country-code extensions whose registries prohibit privacy.
Is the ICANN fee included in these prices?
Yes. Generic TLDs carry a mandatory ICANN fee — currently around $0.18 a year — and it is already built into the registration and renewal prices shown here. Checkout adds nothing extra.
Can I transfer in a domain from another registrar?
In most cases, yes. Unlock the domain at its current registrar, request the EPP auth code, then kick off the move on our transfer page. A standard gTLD transfer stacks a full year of registration on top, charged at the normal renewal rate. Under ICANN rules the name must be at least 60 days old and cannot have switched registrars within the past 60 days.
How soon can I actually use the domain?

Am I free to transfer my domain out later?
Completely — no pushback. Unlock the name in the panel, request the auth code, and it shows immediately. Registry rules do freeze transfers for 60 days after registration or a prior move, but that clock is the registry's, never ours.
How long until everything is running?

Does the price move at renewal?
