1. Cookies in one paragraph

A cookie is a small text file that your browser stores for a site after you have been there. Earlier choices travel forward on it, from one page load to the next. Everything HostingFast (hostingfastnet.com) sets appears in the list below, together with the job each one performs.

2. Exactly what we set

Deliberately, the list is a short one. This marketing site uses only:

  • Currency shown (essential): one small cookie (hfn_ccy) holds whichever currency your prices are shown in, taken from your location or selected by hand in the currency switcher. Payment departs in USD regardless, because this cookie alters the display and nothing at all beyond that.
  • Language shown (essential): a cookie (site_lang) holds the language these pages are rendered in, again taken from your location, or else set within the language switcher.
  • Consent choice (essential): a cookie (hfn_cookie_consent) records which categories you approved, which stops the banner from asking again on every visit and lets your answer be honoured in practice.
  • Security & uptime (essential): the platform that serves this site may write cookies of its own, so pages carry on loading securely and remain available.
  • Analytics and advertising: none at present. No measurement or advertising tag is configured on this deployment, so accepting every optional category still loads nothing at all. Should one be switched on, it appears below immediately, because that list is generated from the site configuration rather than maintained by hand.

Nothing measured here is sold on or passed to anybody else. Earlier versions of this page stated that our measurement was cookieless, and that nothing on the site trailed you between sites. Both statements described the tooling in use until August 2026. Neither describes what runs today, so both have been replaced by the breakdown below rather than left to grow stale.

3. Each third-party tag, taken one by one

There is nothing to break down. No analytics or advertising tag is configured on this deployment, which leaves the list below empty as a matter of fact rather than omission. It is generated from the site configuration, so anything switched on appears here the moment that happens.

4. The billing portal

Billing and your client account sit on a separate system at billing.hosting-cheap.com. It runs on WHMCS, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies — the ones holding your login session open, for instance. The account will not work without them.

5. Withdrawing your consent, and clearing or blocking cookies

Cookie Settings in the footer of every page reopens the panel with your existing answer already displayed, so whatever you accepted can be withdrawn just as quickly. Withdrawal stops any further storage and removes the identifiers being transmitted. A script already running inside the page cannot be pulled back out partway through a visit, so clear the cookies if you want it gone immediately.

Cookies can be cleared or blocked from your browser at any time you choose. Block the essential ones, however, and parts of the site cease to behave properly. The currency you selected, as one example, will not survive into your next visit.
