Cookie Policy
Revised July 20, 2026
1. Cookies in one paragraph
A cookie is a small text file your browser keeps on a site's behalf once you have visited. It is what carries your earlier choices forward to the next page you load. Everything HostingFast (hostingfastnet.com) sets is itemised below, with the job each one does.
2. Exactly what we set
The list stays short on purpose. This marketing site runs on:
- Currency shown (essential): one small cookie (
hfn_ccy) holds the currency your prices render in, picked up from your location or chosen by hand in the currency switcher. Payment leaves in USD either way — this cookie changes the display and nothing beyond it. - Language shown (essential): a cookie (
site_lang) holds the language the pages render in, again read from your location or set in the language switcher. - Consent choice (essential): a cookie (
hfn_cookie_consent) keeps a record of the categories you approved, so the banner stops asking on every visit and your answer can actually be honoured. - Security & uptime (essential): the platform serving this site may add cookies of its own so pages keep loading securely and stay up.
- Analytics and advertising: none right now. This deployment has no measurement or advertising tag configured, so even accepting every optional category loads nothing. If one is turned on it shows up below straight away, since that list comes out of the site configuration instead of being kept up by hand.
Nothing we measure is sold on or handed to anybody else. This page used to state that our measurement was cookieless and that nothing here trailed you between sites. Both described the tooling we ran until August 2026; neither describes what runs now, so they have given way to the breakdown below rather than being left to age.
3. Every third-party tag, one at a time
Nothing to break down. This deployment has no analytics or advertising tag configured, so the list below is empty by fact and not by omission — it is produced from the site configuration, and anything switched on appears here the moment it is.
4. The billing portal
Billing and your client account sit on a separate system at billing.hosting-cheap.com. It runs on WHMCS, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies — the ones holding your login session open, for instance. The account will not work without them.
5. Changing your mind, and clearing or blocking them
Cookie Settings in the footer of every page brings the panel back with your existing answer already shown, so anything you accepted can be withdrawn just as fast. Withdrawing halts further storage and strips the identifiers being sent; a script that is already running in the page cannot be pulled back out mid-visit, so clear the cookies if you want it gone there and then.
Your browser can clear or block cookies whenever you like. Block the essential ones, though, and parts of the site stop behaving — the currency you picked, for one, will not survive through to your next visit.
