Two different agreements

The terms of service govern hosting you have paid for. What follows here covers the website itself, and it binds every visitor, whether or not they are a customer. Should both documents reach the same thing you bought, the terms of service win.

1. What fair use looks like

Read the pages, link to them, quote them with credit, run as many domain searches as you want. Off limits, though:

• hammering the site with a scraper until it degrades, or engineering around the rate limits on search and pricing;
• putting slabs of this writing out under your own name, including dressing it up as generated output;
• framing the pages, or presenting them so as to imply a partnership nobody agreed to;
• hunting for holes in it beyond the terms laid down in the data security statement.

2. Ownership

Text, layout, illustration and marks are owned by Vitalcare at Home Ltd. Photography here is licensed to us, and permission to quote our text carries no permission to lift images. Names such as cPanel, WordPress and WHMCS belong to their respective owners; they appear on these pages to describe what we run, not to hint at any relationship.

3. Prices and specifications

Prices are quoted in US dollars, and US dollars are what your card gets charged. A local-currency figure is only a live conversion, shown to orient you. The sum leaving your account is the dollar sum, converted at whatever rate your bank applies.

Registries set domain pricing, and they move it without warning. A figure printed on a page counts as an invitation to treat rather than a binding offer. What binds is the number sitting in your basket at the moment you pay. Where a price is plainly wrong, nothing obliges us to honour it, and you will hear about that before any money moves rather than afterwards.

As hardware and software get upgraded, specifications shift. Where a shift would cut back what an existing service delivers, the customers affected are told about it.

4. Guidance here is general

Our guides and knowledge base are researched properly, yet they speak to a general reader rather than to your particular position. Nothing published on this site amounts to legal, tax or financial advice. Wherever a page wanders into company structure, or the duties attached to customer records, treat it as orientation and take advice from somebody who knows your affairs.

Any comparison drawn against another provider reflects what that provider had published publicly at the time. Rivals change their pricing without telling us, so check for yourself before leaning on one.

5. Links elsewhere

Where a registry, a vendor manual or an outside tool explains something better than we could, that is where the link points. Those sites belong to other people. We do not run them, we do not vouch for what sits on them, and whatever they do with your data stays between you and them.

6. This site's availability

Provided as it is. The service level agreement covers the hosting you bought rather than our own brochure, and any page here may be altered, moved or retired without notice.

7. Liability

So far as the law permits, no claim lies against us for a loss you suffered by acting on something general published here, by following one of our links out to another site, or because these pages happened to be down at the time.

None of this excludes liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude. A consumer keeps every statutory right they hold.

8. Cookies and data

Whatever ends up stored in your browser sits in the cookie policy. The fate of any personal data is set out in the privacy policy, while putting a right to use over it falls under GDPR and your data rights.

9. Law

Governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts hold jurisdiction. A consumer living elsewhere in the UK may instead bring proceedings at home.
