Accessibility Statement
Revised August 19, 2026
What is covered
The marketing site at hostingfastnet.com. Not the billing and client area, which is third-party software we configure rather than write, and not the hosting control panel, which belongs to the platform supplier.
1. The target
WCAG 2.2 at level AA. Our honest assessment is partially conformant: most of the guidelines are met, and the specific places they are not are listed below rather than glossed over.
We have not written "fully accessible" because it would not be true, and a statement that overstates its position is worse than no statement — it tells a disabled visitor to expect something the site cannot deliver.
2. What is in place
- Text and interface colours are chosen against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast thresholds.
- Keyboard focus is always visible, with an indicator that does not vanish against the brand colours.
- Primary controls sit at 44px on their shorter edge. Dense link rows such as the footer index are 32px, clearing the 24px floor in WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.8 rather than claiming 44px across the board.
- The layout reflows down to 320px with no sideways scrolling, which is WCAG 1.4.10. It did not until 19 August 2026: the header was 17px wider than a 360px screen and 57px wider than a 320px one. That is fixed.
- Animation is decorative and stops entirely under
prefers-reduced-motion. - Pages use genuine headings, lists and landmarks rather than styled containers, and form fields have real labels instead of relying on placeholder text.
3. Known defects
Measured on 19 August 2026. These are real and listing them is not the same as accepting them.
- Nothing in CI checks this. A person verifies contrast and structure at review time, so a regression introduced afterwards survives until the next look.
- Template-built pages have had no individual pass. Their templates were reviewed; the pages themselves have never been opened in a screen reader one at a time.
- Screens we did not build. Everything from checkout onward is licensed software. Faults get raised with the vendor, and the remedy is on their schedule.
4. Telling us
info@hostingfastnet.com, or the contact page. Say which page, what you were trying to do and what stopped you. Naming your browser and assistive technology helps but is not needed.
We reply within five working days. If something is blocking you from buying or from reaching support, say so and we will complete it with you by another route while the underlying fault is dealt with.
Unhappy with the response? The complaints procedure puts it in front of somebody else.
5. How this was tested
Assessed in house: every control reached by keyboard, each colour pair put through a contrast meter, and the viewport narrowed in steps to 320px — which is how the reflow fault above got a number attached to it rather than an opinion. Nobody external has audited the site, and this paragraph remains until somebody has.
Written 19 August 2026; revisited whenever the site changes materially.
