What is covered

The marketing site at hostingfastnet.com. Two things sit outside it. The billing and client area runs on third-party software that we set up but did not write, and the hosting control panel is the platform supplier’s product.

1. The target

WCAG 2.2, level AA. Our own honest verdict is partially conformant: we meet most of the guidelines, and the exact points where we do not are set out below instead of being glossed over.

Nowhere do we claim the site is fully accessible, because that would not be true. A statement which overstates its position does more harm than no statement at all: it tells a disabled visitor to expect something this site cannot deliver.

2. What is in place

• Colour choices for text and interface elements are measured against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast thresholds.
• Focus stays visible when you move by keyboard, and the indicator does not disappear against our brand colours.
• Primary controls measure 44px along their shorter edge. Tightly packed link rows, the footer index among them, come in at 32px, which clears the 24px floor set by WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.8. We do not pretend to 44px everywhere.
• Down to 320px the layout reflows with no sideways scrolling, as WCAG 1.4.10 requires. That was not the case until 19 August 2026, when the header still ran 17px wider than a 360px screen and 57px wider than a 320px one. It has been fixed.
• Animation is decoration alone, and it halts under prefers-reduced-motion.
• Headings, lists and landmarks on these pages are the real elements, not styled containers, and every form field carries a proper label rather than leaning on placeholder text.

3. Known defects

Measured on 19 August 2026. Each one is real, and writing it down here does not mean we accept it.

• Nothing in CI checks this. Contrast and structure are checked by a human at review time, so any regression introduced afterwards lives on until somebody looks again.
• Pages built from templates got no individual pass. The templates behind them were reviewed; the pages themselves have never been opened one by one in a screen reader.
• Screens we did not build. From checkout onward you are using licensed software. We raise faults with the vendor, and any fix arrives on their timetable.

4. Telling us

info@hostingfastnet.com, or the contact page. Tell us which page, what you were attempting, and what got in the way. Naming your browser and assistive technology helps, though it is not required.

We reply within five working days. Where something is stopping you from buying, or from getting through to support, say so. We will finish the job with you by another route while the underlying fault is sorted out.

Unhappy with the response? The complaints procedure hands it over to a different person altogether.

5. How this was tested

The assessment was done in house. Every control was reached by keyboard, each colour pair went through a contrast meter, and the viewport was narrowed in steps down to 320px, which is how the reflow fault above ended up with a number against it instead of an opinion. No outside party has audited this site. The paragraph stays here until one has.
