Unique to the Netherlands
The detail that only applies here
At roughly 8 ms from our London origin, Amsterdam is the quickest non-UK hop we serve — credit to the AMS-IX exchange and some very short subsea cables. The honest trade-off: most Dutch online payment runs through iDEAL, which we do not support, so paying us means using a card.

Domains are refreshingly simple here. SIDN puts no residency test on a .nl, so you can register one whether you are an Amsterdam agency or a founder who has just landed. Payment is the sticking point, and it is a real one rather than a footnote: iDEAL is how the country pays, and our checkout cannot take it.

Credit or debit cards from Visa, Mastercard and American Express, issued in the Netherlands or any other country, as long as the card is enabled for international payments. Stripe processes the charge, so card numbers never reach our servers.

For a first-time visitor pulling a cached page, the gap barely registers — an edge node near them can serve it. Will tax be added to an order from the Netherlands?
Ordering from inside the EU may mean VAT applies. When it does, the figure is calculated and shown at checkout before any money leaves you — nothing gets added after the fact. Buying as a VAT-registered business? Enter your number and the reverse charge handles the rest.
Do I need a UK address to hold an account?
No. The company running things is British — Vitalcare at Home Ltd, registered in England and Wales under number 15098204, verifiable on the public Companies House register — yet buying hosting involves no residency check and no business-registration check. An order from the Netherlands processes exactly like one from London.
What happens if the plan doesn't suit me?
You get 30 days on hosting plans and 7 on reseller plans to change your mind. That is enough time to launch a real site and benchmark it against your own traffic rather than trusting our numbers. Not convinced? Request your money back. The single exception is domain registrations — the registry charges us the instant a name goes live, so those are non-refundable.
